The current and founding members of ANAPHI are the 19 insititutions that currently offer a suite of public health programs. Most of these member institutions receive funding under the Australian Government-funded Public Health Education and Research Program (PHERP). In addition, membership is open to all Australian universities offering courses and undertaking research in public health that are prepared to accept the current goals, structure and operating rules of the network. These include payment of a fee and agreement to participate in the Quality Enhancement Program.
