Deakin University - Faculty of Health, Medicine, Nursing and Behavioural Sciences
The Health sector is one of the largest employers in the country. It is growing
very steadily and providing career and employment opportunities for people
who enjoy challenges, career choice and being at the cutting edge of many
of the health and relationship issues which confront us as we enter the next
century.
We pride ourselves in the Faculty in having courses and units which are contemporary
and which link closely with the settings into which our graduates go. Our
staff work closely with many health and associated agencies and are on top
of what is happening in the community in their areas of expertise.
Our teaching has always been rated very highly by our current and past students.
You will work with staff who are caring, friendly and stimulating, and who
will assist you considerably in your studies.
Our diverse research programs offer you the chance to work on some exciting
issues and to work with staff who have outstanding reputations at national
and international levels.
