La Trobe University - School of Public Health
The School offers a range of educational programs at the undergraduate and
postgraduate levels in many clinical areas and disciplines including
• health promotion
• public health and community health
• health and social policy
• human services programs including rehabilitation, gerontology, counseling
and art therapy.
• health information management, quality management in health care
The School has strong links to service providers including the Department of Human Services, and much of the teaching and research work undertaken in the School is characterised by the crossing of disciplinary boundaries, a generating creativity and innovation. The changes which are sweeping health and health care both within Australia and internationally are recognised by the School in its active and constructive role in influencing health policy, public health and health service development.
