Griffith University - School of Public Health
The School set up a Research Centre on Environment and Population Health,
which will have a main focus in Urban Development and Health Planning.
Other research areas include:

• community health
• reproductive health
• international health
• workplace health
• environmental toxicology
• risk management
• indigenous health.
The School is establishing close links with Queensland Health, Queensland
Health Scientific Services, the NHMRC, National Research Centre for Environmental
Toxicology, Australian Institute of Environmental Health, the Public Health
Association of Australia, the International Union for Health Promotion and
Education, Southwest Regional Office and local government councils through
collaboration on the development of local government health plans (the Healthy
Cities program).
